We are happy to welcome you to our school. If you are currently a student at another school and want to transfer to ELI, please read below for important information:
You will need to go to the ELI office to pick up a "Transfer Clearance Form". This form is required to transfer your I-20 SEVIS records to our school.
Our Transfer Policy
| If.... | Then... |
| ...you are transferring from a local (San Francisco/Bay Area) school | You can have a grace period of 2 weeks between the last day of attendance at the previous school and the first day of attendance at our school |
| ...you are transferring from non-local schools (schools outside of San Francisco/Bay Area) | You can have a grace period of 4 weeks between the last day of attendance at the previous school and the first day of attendance at our school |
Bring these documents with you on your first day of class:
- Completed Application Form (PDF)
- I-20 from your previous school
- Passport
- Bank Statement – At least $8,500 USD for 6 months of study, $17,000 USD for 12 months of study
